Marketing Plan Worksheet

Who you are selling to, and exactly how you plan to reach them.

1. The Customer

Be specific. "Everyone" is not a customer. The clearer you are here, the easier every other marketing decision gets.

Age, income, location, job, family situation, whatever narrows it down.

Say it the way the customer would say it, not the way your industry says it.

Which sites, apps, groups, events, or people they already trust and pay attention to.

2. Your Positioning

One sentence. If you cannot say it in one sentence, it is not ready yet.

3. The Offer

What exactly are you asking them to buy, sign up for, or try first? Include the price if it helps you think it through on your own copy, but do not print a price here for anyone else to see.

4. Channels

Every place you plan to reach this customer, one row per channel. Use the columns to force yourself to say why, what, how often, and how you will know it worked. A channel with no way to measure it is a guess, not a plan.

Marketing channels
Channel Why this one What we will do How often What it costs How we will know it worked Remove
Total Estimated Channel Cost $0.00

5. The 90-Day Plan

Break the next three months into blocks. What is the one main push each month?

6. How Success Is Measured

Pick real numbers you will actually check. If you do not write a target, you will not know if the plan worked.
